The “Empowering Public Administration through Knowledge and Innovation - Capacity Building Exchange” is a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering collaboration between the public administration sectors of Portugal and Iceland. The program seeks to exchange best practices, enhance skills, and promote efficient governance. Through workshops, site visits, and joint projects, participants will immerse themselves in innovative administrative strategies.

This initiative has the following goals:

• Knowledge Exchange: Facilitate the sharing of best practices and insights in areas such as digital transformation, transparency and accountability, citizen engagement, sustainable practices, inclusive governance, performance management.
• Skill Enrichment: Provide hands-on learning experiences to refine skills in policy development, project management, and data-driven decision-making.
• Cultural Bridging: Cultivate cross-cultural understanding, harmonious cooperation to enhance collaboration and reinforcing the bilateral relations between the two countries.
• Network Development: Establish a strong network of professionals from Portugal and Iceland for ongoing information exchange and collaboration.
