Registrations are now open for the Seminar "Climate Change - Heritage & Arts", which will take place on 20 and 21 October 2022, in Lisbon, under the scope of the Bilateral Relations Fund of the Culture Programme funded by EEA Grants Portugal 2014-2021.

Applications are now open for the Modules "Funding Sources", "Law in Culture" and "Transversal Dimensions" of the Training and Qualification Programme organized by the Directorate-General for the Arts (DGArtes), under Call 2 of the EEA Grants Culture Programme.

On the 20th and 21st of October 2022, the “Climate Change - Heritage & Arts” Seminar will take place, in Lisbon, under the Fund for Bilateral Relations of the Culture Programme funded by the EEA Grants Portugal 2014-2021.

The module on artistic and programming dimensions of DGARTES Capacity Biulding Programme starts next Tuesday, July 12, online, in the framework of Call 2 under the EEA Grants Culture Programme 2014-2021.

Culture, Local Development, Heritage. These words were the starting point to the discussion that designed the conceptual framework of the De Fenais a Fenais project, financed by Culture Programme of EEA Grants Portugal, agreed between all partners on the first day of the Advisory Board. New deadlines for submitting applications to Call#2 and travel grants and clarification statement concerning eligibility rules under Connecting Dots.

The deadline for submitting applications to Call 1 of Culture Programme has been extended to 4th May 2020.

4th May and 3rd April are the new deadlines to submit proposals to Call 2 and Travel Grants.

Projects should be developed under mandatory partnerships between artistic entites based in Portugal, artistic entities from any of the Donor States (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and municipalities in low-density territories in the Mainland Portugal and in the Azores and Madeira Islands.

On February 4th the Culture Programme sign the financing contract for the project "FILMar - Digitization of Film Heritage".

Today will be signed the financing contract of the Pre-Defined Project “FILMar: Digitization of Film Heritage”, funded by the Culture Programme.

April 3, 2020 is the new deadline for applications under the Call#2 Connecting Dots - Arts Mobility and Audience Development, and 5 of March 2020 is the new deadline for travel support applications under the FBR Travel Grants.

New changes have been published in Call# 1 - Local Development through Safeguarding and Revitalizing the Coastal Cultural Heritage of the Culture Programme.

The Culture Programme held ten clarification sessions across Portugal mainland and islands, during October, about Open Call 1 “Local Development through Safeguarding and Revitalizing Coastal Cultural Heritage”.

Final clarification session for Coastal Cultural Heritage, held on November 12th at the National Museum of Ethnology.

On November 14th will be held in Lisbon a pitching and matchmaking seminar to promote the development of partnerships between national entities and donor countries.

The Directorate General for Cultural Heritage will promote, a clarification session in Sines, at the Art Center Cafeteria, at 2.30pm.

On 14th, 15th and 17th October, Azores hosts three clarification sessions in Angra do Heroísmo, Horta and Ponta Delgada.

On 11th of October, the Directorate General for Cultural Heritage will promote, a clarification session in Tavira, at the Municipal Library, at 10h00.

On 7th and 8th October, North hosts two clarification sessions in Viana do Castelo and Vila do Conde.

On November 14th, Directorate-General for the Arts will organize, in Lisbon, a pitching and matchmaking seminar to develop partnerships between Portuguese and Donor States artistic entities on the arts axis of EEA Grants' Culture Programme.

On 2nd of October the first clarification session will be held in Madeira Island, Funchal, at Casa-Museu Frederico de Freitas Auditorium, from 10 am to 1 pm.

The Directorate General for Cultural Heritage promoted the On Board Meeting under the Call "Local Development for Safeguarding and Revitalizing Coastal Cultural Heritage".

The call aims at reinforcing the arts provision, access and arts participation by supporting multidisciplinary artistic programming projects. The period for submitting applications runs from 5 of September 2019 to 5 of March 2020.

On September 12th and 13th, Culture Programme will organize the "On Board Meeting" to promote the development and/or strengthening of national and international partnerships.

On the September 5th will be launched an open Call to finance projects under the “Local development through the safeguarding and revitalization of Coastal Cultural Heritage”.

Promoted by DGPC, as Programme Operator, the meeting was held at Palácio Nacional da Ajuda, on June 25th.

Live session of the EEA Grants 2014-2021 Culture Programme Lauching

On 23rd April the Culture Programme funded by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area EEA Grants 2014 -2021 will be publicly presented.

This moment happened during the official visit of the Portuguese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Augusto Santos Silva, to Oslo, from February 25th to the 26th.

Promoted by Directorate General for Cultural Heritage, as programme operator, the meeting aimed to issues related to the structure of the programme.

Oslo received the Seminar for Programme Operators - Cultural Cooperation.

The Directorate General for Cultural Heritage was designated Programme Operator of Programme Area “Culture", in May 2018.
