Open Call #1 moves forward with two projects
The Open Call #1 - which includes "System for assessing the value of work and pay and development of instruments for measuring gender inequalities in work organizations" - kicks off this quarter with the contracts being signed by all parties involved. With a total value of €441,690, the two projects will contribute to “Enhanced gender equal opportunities in the labour market” and “Workplace-related gender equality instruments developed”.
Two projects, two major priority areas
The two approved projects represent each of the two priority areas respectively. The project presented by FESETE - Federation of Textile, Wool, Clothing, Footwear and Leather Workers' Unions of Portugal focuses on the area "Application of methodology for assessing the value of work and pay free from gender bias in different sectors of activity". In turn, the project of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Porto represents the area of "Development of instruments for measuring gender inequalities in work organizations".
The two national promoters will develop their projects for 24 months.
